Since its formation the company has grown to form a Group comprising Erith Holdings Ltd; Erith Contractors Ltd; and Erith Haulage Ltd, with its primary business being to service the construction and related industries through its demolition, asbestos removal, remediation, civil engineering, waste recycling and logistics divisions. The McGee Group is considered by many to be one of the best and most experienced demolition contractors in the UK with a history in the industry spanning 50 years.

During the Company’s history, we have successfully completed complex contracts from Glasgow to Southampton, but most of our wealth of experience has been gained in London and the Home Counties.

Our contribution to safety and recycling in the demolition industry is well recognised. McGee Group were the first to promote deconstruction techniques and the use of Tower Cranes in demolition and the first to use a crusher to process masonry and concrete from demolition. McGee Group won the Beaumont Award for innovation for the design of their radio remote controlled 360º excavator with demolition attachments.
