He is a past president of the National Demolition Association and is still active as a member of the board of directors and education committee. Bill is also a regular guest lecturer at Purdue University. During the late 70’s Alan’s career lead him to the United States where he held a number of Sales and Marketing roles within the Solar Energy and Refrigeration Industry in both the USA and Japan. Returning to the UK in the late 80’s he established Select International Ltd, initially as a consultancy but now as a multi-faceted business involved in product development, manufacture, distribution, e-commerce and logistics. | Fabio Bruno Director, Fabio Bruno Construcoes Fabio Bruno Pinto graduated in Mining Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in 2000 and in Business Administration in 2005 at FGV, both in Brazil. He established his own company in 2001, specialising in the use of explosives, including rock drilling and blasting, tunnels and implosions. Following numerous successful demolitions with no accidents in his career, he has been responsible for many of the more important demolition projects in Brazil, with or without the use of explosives. In 2011, his company received the “Company of the Year” award from the respected Brazilian magazine "O Empreiteiro”, in the Special Services of Engineering sector. |

Tom’s division specializes in emergency response demolition services including shoring and stabilization, asset recovery, loss mitigation, evidence preservation, demolition, debris removal, and evidence storage. In addition, Tom’s division assists both fire investigators and forensic structural engineers with heavy equipment, tools, and specially trained workers on more than 80 investigations a year. Tom regularly trains investigators at the Office of Fire Investigation in Chicago, as well as arson task forces around the Chicago area, on how to utilize demolition companies on fire scenes and disaster sites. In addition, he teaches the Building Construction module of the International Association of Arson Investigators Certified Fire Investigator training course. |

| Jésula André Haitian Cat Excavator Operator Jésula André became in 2005 the first female excavator operator in the SEEUR (Service d’Entretien des Equipement Urbains et Ruraux), a department of the Haïtian Ministry of Transport and Public Works, thanks to her Manager - Engineer Nader JOISEUS, who is extremely active and committed in training and promoting female operators for the SEEUR. Jésula participated to the post January 12th 2010 earthquake efforts to rescue people and demolish dangerous buildings. |

He has been working in the relief sector since 1993 in 15 countries of Africa, Asia, Europe and now Haïti, occupying positions in logistics, administration, project management and country direction, in conflict and post conflict countries. | David Sinclair Safedem and Former President, EDA President of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors (N.F.D.C.) 1986 – 1988. David P. Sinclair is a third generation member of a family who have been involved as contractors in the demolition industry since the early 1920s’ and he is followed by his son William who is Managing Director of his own business, Safedem Limited. David P. Sinclair has wide experience in all aspects of the demolition industry and he specialises in façade retention of historic buildings. He also has wide expertise in demolition by controlled explosives engineering. Presently, as demolition consultant / expert to UNOPS, he has developed a comprehensive master plan for the demolition and debris removal project involving the demolition and removal of debris arising from 1,800 earthquake damaged buildings located at Carrfour Feuille, Port au Prince, Haiti. He remains active in the U.K. based, National Federation of Demolition Contractors and is interested in the development by the National Demolition Training Group of comprehensive training programs for operatives deployed in the demolition and dismantling industry. David P. Sinclair resides with his American born wife Charlotte in Milledgeville, Georgia and he looks forward to participating in the regeneration of his home town. |

| Duncan Rudall Independent Tester, Trainer and Demolition Engineer, UK Duncan Rudall has been in the demolition industry for most of his 20 year working life. He began as a labourer, working his way up through the ranks (ganger, plant operator, site supervisor, contracts/safety manager and director etc). He joined the Institute of Demolition Engineers in 2002 and became a full member in 2005, and has been an active participant ever since, serving on the Council of Management from 2007 to date. He has been fortunate to have been involved with a number of interesting and challenging projects across the UK and Channel Islands. He is very passionate about demolition, an industry that is continually changing for the better, dispelling stigmas and creating a wealth of knowledge and expertise second to none. Working in conjunction with others he now runs his own company providing health & safety training within the demolition industry, specialising in demolition plant and high reach demolition rigs. |
