IPAF Safety Champion of the Year
To an individual who has significantly raised powered access safety levels within an organisation or the industry generally.
Who can enter?
Any company or individual can enter any individual in the industry who they feel merits such an accolade.
The Access Rental Company of the Year
To a powered access rental company that has stood out through growth, innovative marketing, performance, client satisfaction and/or the development of new geographic or sector markets.
Who can enter?
Any dedicated powered access renter (or overwhelmingly powered access), whether an IPAF member or not, that feels its performance in 2009 merits recognition. Entries will be accepted from powered access rental subsidiaries of general rental companies.
The Access International New Product of the Year
To a manufacturing company for the launch of a new product for the access industry in 2009, in recognition of that product’s success or innovation.
Who can enter?
Any manufacturing company with a relevant product.
Contribution to Safe Working at Height – Rental Company
Contribution to Safe Working at Height – Equipment End User
Contribution to Safe Working at Height – Manufacturer
These three ‘contribution’ awards are for manufacturers, rental firms and end users and will recognise particular safety initiatives or commitments that have delivered significant improvements.
Who can enter?
Any company, whether an IPAF member or not, that feels its safety performance merits recognition and contributed to improved safety in the industry.
Mast Climbing Work Platform Achievement Award
To the manufacturer, end user or rental company that has had the biggest positive impact on the business this year.
Who can enter?
Any relevant company, whether an IPAF member or not, that feels its performance merits recognition.
Access Industry Training Award
To a rental company, end user or manufacturer for its commitment to, and the effectiveness of, its powered access training policies and programme.
Who can enter?
Any relevant company, whether an IPAF member or not, that feels its performance merits recognition.
Access Industry Sustainability Award
To a rental company that has been able to demonstrate a commitment to sustainability issues, encompassing its impact on the environment and its wider Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies.
Who can enter?
Any rental company, whether an IPAF member or not.
IPAF/Access International Lifetime Achievement Award
To someone who has made continued and significant commitment, contributions and achievement in the industry. This is a special award that will not necessarily be given every year. The winner will be selected by the judging panel, in consultation with IPAF and Access International magazine. IPAF and the judging panel will, however, be happy to hear recommendations.
New IPAF Training Centre of the Year
To an IPAF or AWPT approved training centre which has demonstrated commitment to the training programme and distinguished itself through growth in training figures or new initiatives to promote training.
Who can enter?
Any IPAF or AWPT approved training centre that started up in 2009.
The IPAF Instructor of the Year
To an IPAF or AWPT certified instructor who has demonstrated commitment to the training programme and stood out through memorable instruction techniques or strength of personality.
Who can enter?
Any IPAF or AWPT certified instructor who has trained regularly during 2009.
Best Marketing Campaign for IPAF Training
To an IPAF or AWPT approved training centre for the most innovative marketing campaign or activities to promote the training programme.
Who can enter?
Any IPAF or AWPT approved training centre that feels its marketing campaign merits this award. Campaign or activities must be related to the IPAF training programme.
