The International Rental Exhibition is organised in co-operation with the European Rental Association (ERA). The ERA is the representative association of the equipment rental sector in Europe and represents over 4,200 rental companies in Europe, either through 11 national rental associations or directly. The association is open to all European national rental association as well as to all operators who have at least one operating location in Europe. The association is also open to associate members that are involved in the rental industry.
Mr Gérard Deprez, chairman of the European Rental Association said about IRE,
"Emerging from an unprecedented crisis, Rental will have to reconsider its strategies and partnerships in a new environment. To face this challenge, the ERA Convention will be gathering the rental industry in Amsterdam over three days during the IRE 2011 Exhibition.
At the beginning of recovery, the 2011 show is perfectly-timed as we need to assess manufacturers, their equipment ranges, their new machines, novelties and their service networks. It provides the opportunity for manufacturers and service suppliers to meet customers and to introduce their latest tailored solutions to the market. With a doubled exhibition area, IRE will be the largest European rental equipment show in 2011.

The International Rental Exhibition also has the official support of International Rental News (IRN), the world's leading international rental magazine, and the magazine's publisher, KHL Group. Through IRN, KHL's ten market-leading construction magazines, other selected titles, and a worldwide promotion campaign, show organiser Industrial Promotions International (IPI) will be looking to attract a high quality and quantity of visitors to IRE 2011.
