EUROPEAN RENTAL AWARDS

The second European Rental Awards will be held in Manchester, UK on 26 May, 2009, during the European Rental Association’s annual convention.

Dedicated to recognising and promoting excellence and professionalism among rental companies and suppliers to the rental industry in Europe, the awards will be presented at the ERA’s dinner during its convention in Manchester at the Midland Hotel on 26-27 May 2009.

The European Rental Awards are again being organised and supported jointly by International Rental News (IRN) and the European Rental Association (ERA).

The 2009 award categories have been chosen to reflect the entire rental industry, recognizing rental companies both large and small, as well as individuals and suppliers to the industry. All European rental companies and suppliers who sell in Europe are eligible to enter the awards.

The four award categories are as follows:

Rental Company of the Year (10 depots or more)

Rental Company of the Year (under 10 depots)

Rental Product of the Year (launched during 2008)

The ERA/IRN Rental Person of the Year

We believe that Europe’s fast growing and increasingly professional rental industry needs a forum in which best practice is recognised and rewarded.

If you think that your company deserves such recognition, or if you wish to nominate a candidate for the ERA/IRN Rental Person of the Year, then please submit an Award Entry Form as detailed on this site.

The deadline for entries is FRIDAY 27 MARCH 2009.

Recognising and rewarding success and excellence is a sure way to raise standards. We hope that the entire industry participates in the second European Rental Awards, and look forward to receiving your entries.

"The idea is to be close to city centre sites, targeting tradesmen and small builders with less than five or six employees. They are doing a lot of work on renovating and refurbishing houses and shops in the centre of town."
