American Cranes & Transport's ACT 100, with over 50 companies added to the list since the first one was published in 2005 making this year's the largest and most comprehensive list ever.

For the ACT 100, American Cranes & Transport surveyed more than 700 companies throughout the US, Canada and Mexico, asking them for information about their crane fleets and capacities. Companies are listed by their ACT 100 Index, which is calculated by adding together the maximum lifting capacities in US tons of all crawler cranes and mobile cranes in a company's fleet.
