Trojan rejoins ALABC

Deep-cycle battery manufacturer Trojan Battery has renewed its membership with the Advanced Lead Acid Battery Consortium (ALABC).

As part of its membership, Trojan will actively participate in the consortium's research programme and assist in the continued development of advanced lead-acid and lead carbon batteries for current and emerging markets.

ALABC is an international research cooperative comprised of lead producers, battery manufacturers, equipment suppliers, and research facilities organized to enhance the performance of lead-acid batteries for a variety of markets, including hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) applications.

Trojan batteries provide power for a wide variety of golf, industrial, renewable energy, recreational, transportation and auxiliary power applications. The company maintains two of the largest and most extensive research and development centres in North America dedicated to engineering new and advanced battery technology.
