ConExpo exhibit sales going strong

Written by Lindsey Anderson - 22 Mar 2010

The 2011 ConExpo-Con/AGG  show is already reporting that 1.8 million net square feet of exhibits have been sold. Set for March 22-26, 2011 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, organizers say despite economic uncertainties, companies are still signing up for North America's largest construction trade show.

"Some companies have actually increased their exhibit space even though others had to reduce their commitment because of the economy," said Megan Tanel, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM)'s vice president, exhibits and events. "They all say they see the value of our shows as an industry gathering place to efficiently connect with customers, especially in these economic times."

The show will feature specialized exhibit pavilions with a focus on information technology/management, as well as international exhibit pavilions.

"For attendees, they'll be able to see a range of the latest products and services available in the marketplace and be able to talk one-on-one with industry experts in construction, construction materials and fluid power/motion control," Tanel said.
