CTT 2017 has already attracted several big names

CTT 2017 has already attracted several big names

Foreign companies are seeing an improvement in the business climate in Russia, a survey by Russian trade association RSPP has found.

And, according to Moscow’s CTT show, which is part of the Bauma network, this is consistent with the results of the latest business climate survey from AHK (German Chambers of Commerce Abroad). It has forecast a positive development of the Russian economy for 2017.

Messe München, the organiser of Bauma and CTT, said this trend was also reflected in the international participation at the Moscow show, which is taking place from May 30 to June 3, 2017, in the Crocus Expo IEC in the Russian capital.

It said that a number of international country pavilions had already registered for CTT, including China with more than 80 exhibitors, Germany with 38, Italy with 21, and Finland with five.

CTT added that international participation was high even outside the pavilions, with industry heavyweights represented by their Russian distributors, registered for CTT 2017.

These include SDLG, which is represented by RBAuto; Hyundai with TechMashUnit; Shantui with StroyImportTechnika; and Hitachi, represented by Hit Machinery.

One of the biggest Russian manufacturers of off-road trucks, Automobile Plant Ural of the GAZ Group, is also exhibiting again, as are KAMAZ, Volvo Penta, Hidromek and Kaercher, which CTT said was back in Moscow again for the first time since 2012. Haulotte Vostok, manufacturer and supplier of lifting platforms, will also be represented at the trade fair.
