The 450 m-long, 50 m wide bridge will link Dubai's man-made Palm Jebel Ali island to the Waterfront development.

It will have a main span of 225 m and two 135 m-high pylons. It will carry an eight lane motorway and will also include provision for cyclists and pedestrians.
