Skanska USA wins Indiana contract

Skanska USA has been awarded a US$ 120 million (€ 91 million) construction contract for maintenance and capital projects at a manufacturing facility in Indiana.

The three-year contract, which commenced in January and will run until December 2014, is a first for Industrial Contractors Skanska, a part of Skanska USA Civil acquired and incorporated in the Skanska Group on 1 January.

Industrial Contractors Skanska operates three separate business streams - power and energy, commercial and light industrial, and heavy industrial.

Skanska USA Civil specialises in civil infrastructure. It is one of four business units operating under Skanska USA, the US business arm of Swedish contractor Skanska.

The  contract will be included in  Skanska USA Civil's first quarter oders.
