Report CommentIf you write "With its 6 MW output, Enercon's E-126 turbine is one of the most powerful wind turbines in the world" you should also mention, that those 6 MW are only a maximum to be reached with high wind speeds of more than 12m/sec.

Report CommentIt is not only that the performance of your 6 MW turbine is restricted to a relatively small range in windvelocity. More important is the fact that, depending on the location, your Turbine needs the same or even more power of a conventional power plant to be run in parallel. It is obvious, that in total pollution is thereby increased.
