Boom Logistics has secured a three year contract to supply cranes and associated services to BHP Billiton Iron Ore Operations in northwest Australia.

The contract, with a two year extension option, will include services for all shutdown and maintenance works at BHP Billiton's Nelson Point and Finucane Island operations in Port Hedland, Western Australia (WA).

Brenden Mitchell, Boom Logistics Ltd. (Boom) CEO, said, "This consolidates our position in the northwest of WA and reinforces Boom as a major provider to industry leaders in the region. Revenue from this contract is expected to be around AU$35m (US$36.5 million) over the next three years."

Boom has signed two further three year contracts: an AU$6 million ($6.3 million) contract to supply cranes and associated services to Anglo American Metallurgical Coal Operations in central Queensland; and a re-signed AU$9 million ($9.4 million) contract with BP Refinery in Western Australia.
