• The CE Barometer is a useful indicator for the expected construction activities in Europe but it would be more useful if it could give (e.g. every once a quarter) a more detailed idea of the activity per country and also per kind of activity (like private constructions, industrial, public, external and overseas activities...). In Belgium we expect a 10% fall in new houses, 25% in industrial buildings, probably a small raise in public activities, an activity grow for some Belgian contractors in foreign activities.
