LTECH's new Bronto S 46 XDT gets to work at Vnukovo airport, Moscow.

Russian sales and rental company LTECH-Lifting Technology quickly put its latest fleet addition, a truck-mounted Bronto S 46 XDT access platform, to use with the new model drafted in to carry out essential maintenance at Vnukovo airport, Moscow.

The 46 m platform was used on a two-week project to replace the windows in the façade of the Vnukovo terminal 1 building, as well as carrying out maintenance on the external metal construction. The platform had to carry loads of up to 600 kg, which is why LTECH used its new Bronto.

The rental firm also provided two operators with the unit, as the airport required the work to be carried out as quickly as possible, meaning the Bronto was in use 24-hours a day.

LTECH plans to continue its fleet expansion in 2012 and 2013. The company has a Ruthmann T 370 on order, scheduled for delivery in October. Meanwhile, three more Ruthmann machines, a T 370, T 460 and T 580, will be delivered in 2013. The Ruthmann T 580, at 58 m, will be the highest truck-mounted machine in Russia when it is delivered.
