It has also strengthened its large truck mount offering with the delivery of a 56m Bronto Skylift S56-XR and its fifth 50m S50-XDT-J.

As well as providing a 90m working height, the S90-HLA-X offers impressive up and over outreach capabilities and a maximum 600kg platform capacity. It is also the first 90m Bronto to be mounted on the Volvo FMX 500 series chassis, designed for challenging conditions and environments such as on wind farm access roads and construction sites.

The S90-HLA-X has also been specified with some of the latest innovations, including blue-tooth remote controls, a heated platform floor and a suite of onboard crane mats, pads and timber blocks to cater for all ground conditions. It also features a built-in electrical generator and hydraulic power sources to facilitate the use of related tools from the working basket, plus a range of new operator and engineer safety features.

Remote diagnostics and fleet software provides improved reliability and operator assurance, while the Volvo built-in engine self-combustion protection VCB valve, spark arrestor and continuous chassis-to-basket earth-bonding ensures it complies with the refinery/petro-chemical and power line sectors. Additional options like Bronto’s 400kg CW400 hydraulic winch and media lighting/camera rigs also allows for it to be used in multiple sectors.

The S56-XR and S50-XDT-J truck-mounted platforms, specified to the same high standard as the S90-HLA-X, offer leading working envelopes for their size and weight. All three also come fitted with the latest camera and sensor technology to protect vulnerable road users.
