The new branch will act as a merger of Johnsons and Stella’s two current branches, which will now close, moving all the equipment into one “super branch”.

The new branch will serve as the base of operations for Kennards’ traffic, and pump and power divisions, as well as stocking general equipment.

Kennards now has 20 branches in New Zealand, with just under 170 in total across Australia and New Zealand.

Branch manager, Dan Manning, said, “We are really excited about our new location on Parkhouse Road, the much larger branch will now allow us to provide a greater offering for our customers, allowing them to complete any job big-to-small.

“The great thing is we’ve got some terrific people who have joined the Kennards Hire family from the recent acquisitions. We’re all keen to get involved in the local community and can’t wait help out our customers with any projects they’re working on.”
