Registration open for IPAF Innovate

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) North American Regional Council is introducing a new workshop event called Innovate which will be held Oct. 16-17 at the Houston Area Safety Council headquarters. The two day workshop waims to bring together rental companies, contractors, manufacturers, service companies and industry stakeholders to facilitate collaboration through problem-solving sessions and education presentations. 

There will be 10 workshop topics that attendees can choose from which will include: exiting an elevated work platform; site risk assessment; introduction to platform load sensing; recognizing and avoiding electrocution; MEWP rescue plans; safe work sites; learning from near misses; retraining; safe MEWP traveling on site; and qualified service technicians.

On the evening of Oct. 16, attendees will be treated to a networking event and dinner at NASA’s facility in Houston.
