The cargo arrived by boat and was loaded onto trailers at the Port of Ruse-East, Bulgaria. From there it was transported to the consignee within three days. The overland transport was challenging due to the size of the load, with the largest item measuring 5.40 metres wide and 5.10 metres high. The job required three route studies. At one point the largest load passed through a tunnel with only four centimetres clearance. To transport the items, Holleman used a combination of 27 cm low-bed trailers and 80 cm semi-trailers. Despite this, the height of the cargo meant Holleman had to use many secondary roads which, in turn, required the lifting of overhead wires and traffic control.
