JLG debuts ANSI videos

By Lindsey Anderson29 October 2019

JLG has released a series of videos detailing the upcoming ANSI standards relating to mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs.)

JLG’s “Boot Camp” videos are available to watch for free.

The opening video discusses each goal operators and supervisors will need to meet by the December deadline, including training on keeping safe while using MEWPs, staying productive and avoiding fines and citations.

Dubbed as “JLG Boot Camp,” the series follows “Sgt. McConnell” who pushes “recruits” to become compliant with the upcoming standards.

”Recruits” learn about new machine features, how to develop a safe use program and meet new training requirements. The ANSI standards go into effect this December. To view the videos, click this link.
