Oil & Steel has renewed its partnership with SNM Lift, as the manufacturer’s distributor in Northwest France, and confirmed a major truck mount order from the company.

SNM Group, founded in 1981, specialises in the sale of mobile cranes through its SNM Cranes division and in equipment for the transfers of containers and hydraulic cranes, with its SNM Heavy Handling, and aerial platforms with SNM Lift. SNM also provides repairs and OEM parts for all its machines

Fabrizio Girotti, general manager of Italy-based Oil & Steel, said, “I am glad to announce the continuity of our partnership with SNM Lift. They will contribute to the marketing and after sales service of Oil & Steel in the northwest of France. SNM Lift will be a fundamental partner for the growth of our brand in France, a historically important country for Oil & Steel.”

“Fabien Tuduri, SNM Lift sales manager, added, “SNM Lift is pleased to continue its partnership with Oil & Steel that began in 2013. Its range of innovative and high-performance aerial platforms, combined with a leading position in the market, make Oil & Steel a brand approved by our customers.”

SNM has also confirmed an order for more than 20 Oil & Steel truck mounted platforms, including Snake 2010 H Plus and Snake 2413 Plus models. The Snake 2010 H is an articulated platform with a double pantograph boom that provides 20m working height and 10.2m outreach, with a maximum load of 250kg in the basket. It is the only model in its class to offer 10.2m outreach, said the manufacturer, which makes it one of its best selling lifts.

The Snake 2413 Plus is an articulated aerial platform that offers a maximum working height of 23.5m and a maximum outreach of 12.6m, with a maximum load of 250kg in the basket. The main characteristics are sturdy and compact dimensions which favour working in very small spaces, as well as lightness and stability.
