Holly Price to chair WDS 2021
26 November 2020
Demolition & Recycling International (D&Ri) is delighted to announce Holly Price as a session chair for next year’s World Demolition Summit (WDS) in Chicago, USA.
Holly had been due to fill the role at the 2020 WDS scheduled for Vienna, Austria, before Covid-19 intervened and the format had to be changed to accommodate a shorter, online event.
She is skills and communities director at the British contractor Keltbray and became president of the United Kingdom’s National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC) last year.
Starting her career in the demolition industry aged 17, training to be an engineer, Holly went on to become Europe’s only female explosives engineer in the sector. She is the first female president of the NFDC, sits on the Construction Industry Training Board, and has been at the Keltbray Group since 2007.
The World Demolition Summit attracted a record 453 contractors and other industry professionals at the most recent live event in Boston, USA in 2019 as well as almost 400 at this year’s online event two weeks ago.
It is organised by D&Ri in co-operation with the European Demolition Association and the US National Demolition Association.
Comprising a conference, awards dinner and networking events, it takes place at Chicago’s Loews Hotel on October 20 and 21.
