Jumbo completes 1,800 tonne series
Jumbo's new J-1800-class heavy lift vessel, Jumbo Jubilee, has been launched. The event took place at the Damen shipyard in Galatz, Romania, in November. The ship was named in honour of the company's 40th anniversary year and the 60th anniversary of its agent Kahn Scheepvaart

Wind farm go-ahead

SMIE makes light work of heavy traffic
Just 7 km west of the centre of Paris, on the banks of the river Seine, the former Renault factory has been derelict for over 15 years. Engineering consultants, CICAD, requested that all cranes used during the site's re-development be fitted with SMIE anti-collision and zoning systems.
Fagioli's double acquisition
Italy-based Fagioli has bought two Liebherr crawler cranes, a 750 tonne capacity LR 1750 and a 1,350 tonne LR 11350. Both models were ordered with a range of equipment to cover most applications.
