Ben Hammill, AFI business development manager, said, “We have been working with a number of contractors at Heathrow and Gatwick airports and this has created some very strong relationships for AFI within the aviation sector, leading us onto Birmingham Airport. We are delighted to have gained this approval – it means that contractors working at the airports now have a wider choice of powered access suppliers. We have drivers and service engineers within easy reach of the airports and can also call upon our national fleet of over 6,000 machines, so we can easily meet all requirements.”
