Mateco expands in Germany and Switzerland

Mateco has acquired Kohler Arbeitsbühnenvermietung’s aerial platform rental divisions in Germany and Switzerland.

Part of the TVH Group, Mateco said its new location in Rheinfelden would offer its customers a wider rental equipment offering and range of services. The Swiss division of Kohler will be transferred to the newly-founded Mateco Schweiz. 

This deal follows another recent acquisition in Germany by Mateco. Heintzelmann, based in Ludwigshafen, sold its aerial platform division to Meteco in November.

The acquisition strengthens Mateco’s fleet in the region, while the crane division of Heintzelmann remains under the direction of owner and managing director Ralph Heintzelmann at its location in Ludwigshafen.
