Ruthmann and Slagelse agree purchase of Steiger T 650 HF

Manufacturer Ruthmann has sold its 100th aerial working platform unit to Danish rental company Slagelse Liftundlejning (Slagelse Lift).

Slagelse Lift bought the Steiger T 650 HF model with DSR (dynamic range system) at Bauma this year.

Originally launched at Bauma 2016, the T 650 HF features a 600kg capacity basket,  a working height of 65m and a 43m outreach.

According to Ruthmann’s the new addition of the DRS option will enable Slagelse Lift’s unit to exceed its maximum reach capacities by around 2m.

Ruthmann’s said the rental company’s Steiger will be the highest Steiger in operation in Denmark.

The manufacturer first presented the DRS for the HF series devices at Bauma in Germany this year. It had previously only been available for the company’s Skyperformance Steiger T900 model.

Uwe Strotmann, Ruthmann head of sales, said, “We have sold many new machines with DRS and the retrofit is in great demand, because our customers do not want to deprive so much more outreach to their customers.”
