Skyjack recently filled a tall order with growing UAE rental company Safelift LLC. The Abu Dhabi-based rental company just added a number of Skyjack products to its lineup, making Skyjack one of its key suppliers.

“We selected Skyjack because they produce a range of strong and robust products, which are ideal for the region” said Wayne Taylor, managing director at Safelift LLC. The recent order encompassed SJ66 T straight booms, SJ46 AJ, SJ63 AJ, and the recently launched SJ85 AJ articulated booms, and a range of DC electric scissors. “[They] offer a good list of features including the latest technology in secondary guarding that some of our customers are now requesting as standard,” Taylor added.

Skyjack’s new SJ85 AJ provides a  platform height of 85ft (25.91m) combined with a 56ft (17.07m) reach. The unit is designed to offer the flexibility of an articulating boom and the speed of a straight boom with the manufacturer’s Speedyreach – allowing the operator to cycle between maximum platform height and ground level without lowering the riser section. Skyjack booms also come equipped with an axle-based 4WD system and selectable rear differential lock, while its Easydrive direction sensing drive and steer controls eliminate operator confusion when rotating the machine.

The order has been delivered to Safelift LLC’s new facility in Al Quoz, Dubai. “This first significant investment in a new fleet, and the recent opening of our new facility in Dubai shows our commitment to customers going into 2018 and beyond.”
