A CEO has been added to the management structure of formwork and scaffolding company Peri, with Dr Rudolf Huber, currently chairman of the advisory board, taking over the newly-created position.

The shareholders and the advisory board of the Peri Group decided to change the management organisation of the German-based, family-owned company. From 1 January, 2018, the group’s management of three managing directors will be extended by a CEO, therefore consisting of four people.

Huber was a member of the group executive board and chief financial officer of the Geberit Group from 1992 to 2004, and since 2005 has held advisory and supervisory board roles in a number of companies. He has been a member of the Peri advisory board since 2009, and has been its chairman since 2011.

His successor as chairman of the Peri advisory board will be Christian Schwoerer.

As a member of the shareholder family, Schwoerer was managing director for finance and organisation until 2014 and then joined the advisory board. As chairman of the advisory board, Christian Schwoerer will be a link between the group management, the advisory board and the shareholders.

The other group managing directors remain Alexander Schwoerer (sales), Dr Fabian Kracht (finance and organisation) and Leonhard Braig (product and technology).

Alexander Schwoerer said, “We are positioning ourselves for the future and are currently creating the organisational basis for the good and successful development of Peri within the framework of our growth strategy Peri 2025.

“A CEO structure is the appropriate form of organisation for a company of our size and complexity.”
