Winners of the 2016 World Demolition Awards celebrate together at the event in Miami. Could it be your company’s turn this time?

It’s the final week for entries to the World Demolition Awards – with the June 30 deadline looming large across all 11 categories.

So if you have a product or project that you have been working on or completed in the past 12 months, now is the time to put it forward.

The World Demolition Awards will take place on the evening of Thursday November 2, at London’s Millennium Gloucester Hotel.

As usual, they will follow the World Demolition Summit that takes place earlier the same day.

But with a high volume of entries expected, and to give our international judging panel time to consider and evaluate the submissions, it’s really important that you contact us with your entry by the end of this week.

The categories for the awards are the same as they were in 2016, providing a mix of potential honours for contractors and equipment suppliers.

These are the 11 categories:

Contract of the Year over US$1m

Contract of the Year under US$1m

Civils Demolition

Collaboration in Demolition

Explosive Demolition

Industrial Demolition

Urban Demolition

Recycling and Environmental

Safety and Training

Manufacturer’s Innovation – Plant and Equipment

Manufacturer’s Innovation – Tools and Attachments.

And don’t forget, a special World Demolition Award will be presented on the night to the entry that the judges viewed as the “best of the best”.

The World Demolition Summit is organised by Demolition & Recycling International in co-operation with the European Demolition Association. Headline sponsor is Volvo Construction Equipment.
