Markku Simula will become president of Metso’s aggregates equipment business on January 1

It is one of a trio of appointments as the company continues to reorganise, with Mikko Keto taking up an equivalent position in minerals services and Sami Takaluoma becoming president, minerals consumables.

He will take up the post on January 1, reporting to company president and CEO Nico Delvaux. Aggregates equipment will be one of seven business areas in the new set up.

“The fundamentals of our strategy and business portfolio remain the same, and our vision is valid,” said Nico Delvaux.

“We will implement an organisational structure, where businesses are built around similar customer, competitive and business dynamics. This will enable a more focused and agile organisation.”
