Winter meeting for ERA members

The European Rental Assoication (ERA) held its latest meeting on 5 December, with the newly-elected committee chairman, Jose Blanco, present.

The meeting, held in Brussels, Belgium, saw a number of topics discussed, including a new sustainability assessment tool, dedicated to SMEs, produced by Schuttelaar & Partners.

Other topics included the public affairs activities of ERA and, more particularly, the Green Public Procurement (GPP) and the internal market related barriers encountered by the members of ERA and its associations. The virtual reality development product, developed by HAE, was also discussed, along with the date for the next ERA Convention.

Of the 13 national associations comitted to the ERA, nine were present at the meeting, as well as IPAF. The associations meet once a year to discuss the ERA’s committees and to discuss topics of interest for the future.
