Featured speaker – Stefano Panseri

Stefano Panseri is CEO of Despe, the Italian family company managed with his father Giuseppe and his brother Roberto.
He is a member of the Technical Committee of NAD, the Italian Demolition Association, vice president of the European Demolition Association, and chair of the CTBUH (Council for the Tal Building and Urban Habitat) Demolition Working group.
In 2017 Stefano received an award as one of the Top 25 Newsmakers of the Year from Engineering News Record magazine for leading the team developing the “self climbing Kokoon”, an item of equipment for safe and fast steel erection in the construction of skyscrapers.
At this year’s WDS he will speak on a major project for Despe in which the company took just five months to complete demolition and asbestos removal that would normally take a full year.
