Bauma and ConExpo organisers to team-up for new 2011 Mumbai show.

UpRight has confirmed that it will be attending the Intermat Exhibition which will be held in Paris in April.
This year's World of Asphalt show has been deemed a great success by organisers with over 5700 attendees and 400 exhibitors. Steve Skinner reports from the show.

Attendance at last week’s Rental Show in Atlanta, Georgia, appeared to be as much as 50% down on recent years, reflecting the general economic climate, although exhibitors had anticipated the decline and did not appear to be complaining too much.

Atlas Copco has decided not to exhibit at the Intermat exhibition in Paris in April and said the decision covered both its Atlas Copco and Dynapac businesses. The announcement underlines the pressure that construction equipment manufacturers are under to reduce costs in the face of recession in some of their largest markets.

Haulotte plans to start manufacturing platforms in Asia in 2009 according to chief operating officer Alexandre Saubot. Speaking at last week's Bauma China exhibition in Shanghai he said, "Before the end of next year, we will be producing machines in Asia - it's likely to be in China. It's part of our strategy - we want to have production, sales and service in every region of the world."
