Japanese equipment manufacturer Kubota launched its new KX027-4 mini excavator at the UK’s Executive Hire Show – a machine that is said to be ideally suited to the rental market.

The 2.6 tonne excavator claims a biggest-in-class cab and an improved digging force, providing a strong balance of productivity and comfort.

The excavator is also available in two models. The standard KX027-4 model is ideal for general excavation jobs, while the high-spec model uses AUX oil flow with proportional flow control and auto shift, which provides greater versatility and performance, said Kubota.

The KX027-4 also boasts an improved bucket digging force, and when simultaneous operation of the boom, arm, bucket and swivel are required, two variable pumps distribute the correct amount of oil flow to each actuator.

Kubota’s new excavator cab offers improved visibility, an easy-open front slide window, an adjustable suspension seat and a forward mounted intuitive panel.

Dave Roberts, managing director of Kubota UK, said, “At Kubota, we are constantly taking on the feedback of our customers and dealers to ensure we bring new machines to market that offer the performance requirements and operational comfort they seek.

“The EHS show proved the perfect platform to showcase our new KX027-4 excavator to the hire market, as the machine not only offers contractors superior productivity and efficiency, but also the facility for operators to work in comfort all day long.”
