South Korean equipment giant Hyundai has unveiled four new models at ConExpo, which are among the 20-plus machines it has brought to Las Vegas.

The firm is showing models in its HL900 series of wheeled loaders, 9A series compact excavators and its HR-9 series of tandem-drum compaction rollers for the first time.

New Tier 4 Final engines are also being unveiled, along with upgrades to its full line of compaction rollers, plus a new boom offering for its HL900 series wheeled loaders.

Hyundai’s new R30Z-9AK mini excavator, designed and manufactured by the comany in South Korea, is said to have a compact design and zero tail swing radius which allows the operator to work in confined areas such as close to buildings on roadways, and in inner-city areas. The boom can be offset left or right within an operating range.

The 2,894kg machine is said to be targeted at contractors and tradesmen who need a reliable and productive machine. A large dozer blade on the machine provides added versatility, work efficiency and stability for the job in hand, and Hyundai said the R30Z-9AK rounded out its mini excavator range.

Corey Rogers, marketing manager, Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas, said “ConExpo is going to be an exciting opportunity for customers to get to know Hyundai and the unique edge that we provide our customers. Hyundai’s presence at the show will turn a lot of heads.

“Our innovative lineup of wheeled loaders, excavators, and compaction rollers and breakers stands apart from the rest.”

All 22 machines on show are available to US and Canadian customers through Hyundai’s North American dealer network.
