Vinci Construction France appoints new MD

Vinci Construction France has appointed Hugues Fourmentraux as its new managing director.

Fourmentraux, who joined the Vinci Group in 1995 as a contract manager, previously held the deputy managing director role in the French region. He graduated from ENSAM (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers) as an engineer, and from 2001 to 2005 held the positions of principal contract manager, works director, operations director and director of building.

In 2005, he joined the Lamy company in the Rhône-Alpes region as deputy director. In 2007, he joined the teams at Sogea Nord-Ouest, becoming head of the Normandie regional building division when it was set up in 2008. He took charge of the Vinci Construction France Normandie Centre delegation in 2010 and was subsequently appointed operations director in 2011 and deputy managing director in 2013.
