Mammoet has added wheeled mobile cranes up to 250 tonnes capacity, including this Liebherr, at its yard in Perth

Mammoet has strengthened its presence in Australia with the opening of a new yard at Perth Naval Base and an office in Brisbane.

The international heavy lift and transport contractor has been working in Australia since 2002, working on civil, petrochemical and mining industry projects. The Brisbane office will help support projects and customers in the Eastern states. It will be the fourth one in the country. At the expanded Perth yard there are 12 new cranes, from 25 to 250 tonnes capacity.

Wouter Mink, Mammoet Australia managing director, commented on the expansion, “These new Mammoet locations enable us to have our equipment and professionals locally available. This ensures timely mobilisation to site, and a quick upscale if required.”
