A crowd of more than 350 top people from the crane and transport industry in Europe and further afield gathered in Amsterdam, Netherlands, for the 2017 dinner and awards ceremony. The event is organised by ESTA and International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine. It is a celebration of the best in Europe’s crane and specialized transport industry.

Sponsors for the evening were as follows: Gold sponsors were Liebherr and Tii Sales; Silver and Hospitality sponsor was Terex Demag; Silver sponsors were Goldhofer, Manitowoc, and Tadano; supporting sponsors were Faymonville and Kohler.

Every year, the awards rely on the hard work of an independent panel of judges. The overall juror co-ordinator was Wim Richie and the two judging panels were chaired by Peter van Dam and Cor van Unen.

Next year’s awards will be held on 26 April in Paris, France, during the Intermat construction equipment exhibition at the Hilton Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
