Demag AC 300-6 for RRC Crane Hire

RRC Crane Hire Ltd with Road Rail Cranes Ltd, has added a new 300 tonne capacity Demag AC 300-6 all terrain to its rental fleet. It is the first of this model, announced in 2017, to be delivered in the UK.It can lift 15 tonnes on the full 80 metre boom.

Commenting on his purchase Ian Cross, RRC managing director, said, “Since adding our first specialized crane in early 2013, we’ve worked hard to build an impeccable reputation for network rail infrastructure.”

RRC chose the AC 300-6 because it is quick to rig and can carry 19.2 tonnes of counterweight and remain within the 16.5 tonne UK axle loading. “There are so many cost- and time-saving features incorporated into the design of this crane,” he added. “We know it will get a lot of use and yield a high return-on-investment.”

Cross also reported good service support as another reason for his choice, “The parts supply and technical service we receive is excellent, which is just another reason we haven’t considered other manufacturers’ products for our requirements.”

The RRC Group owns and operates more than 24 Terex and Demag cranes.
