Jassim Transport & Stevedoring in Kuwait has ordered five new Demag all terrain wheeled mobile cranes.

JTC will add four AC 100-4Ls and an AC 250-6 to expand its fleet with the latest order. The company has four operating divisions in port management, contract logistics, equipment leasing and power rental services. It operates in Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

Adel Kohari, JTC chief executive officer, said the new cranes will help them do a better job of providing tailor-made services and solutions for their customers. “The Demag AC 100-4L crane is extremely versatile, which means we can accomplish more lifts in less time than with similar sized units,” he explained.

Kohari continued, “This new purchase is a part of the several initiatives in support of the various infrastructure development projects that JTC is currently executing within the oil and gas and construction industry. Also, Terex Cranes has an outstanding reputation for building quality and reliable cranes, and for providing fast aftermarket support. And, we are excited to see them bring back the Demag brand.”

The five latest cranes will add to a fleet of Terex and Demag cranes that includes around 20 models.
