Swedish on-road load handling equipment provider Hiab has opened a new sales and service depot in the UK. Located in in Bishop’s Stortford, the new depot is one of Hiab’s largest in the country. Called the London depot, Hiab said it is strategically placed to serve London and East Anglia and its operations will extend as far west as Oxford, north to Milton Keynes, and south to the coast.

The London depot will offer a full range of services, from equipment inspection to preventive maintenance and breakdown support. It will also act as a base for Hiab’s team of mobile service engineers. According to Hiab, this will provide the flexibility to either service equipment at the new depot or at a customer’s site (or any other convenient location).
