Strictly sells and adds Raimondi towers

Australian tower crane specialist Strictly Cranes has sold four new Raimondi models to various rental companies and developers in the country. Strictly Cranes is an official Raimondi agent based in New South Wales. In addition, the company has ordered two new Raimondi cranes to add to its own existing fleet.

The total order comprises: four 10 tonne capacity MRT152s and two 10 tonne MRT159s – with one of each type going to Strictly Cranes.

According to Raimondi, developers in Australia are increasingly shifting to using heavier lifting cranes due to their versatility on the job site. It says its cranes are being used on a range of job sites, from lower level apartment blocks to high level residential and commercial buildings.

“These 10 tonne tower cranes are great for utility, hence increasing return on investment for our clients,” elaborated Ramey Alkhoshaibi, founder and commercial director. “The city tower size, being only 1.5 metres, allows for much more onsite accessibility. The positioning of such a compact tower maximises jib radius while presenting the contractors with more options in terms of how and where the cranes can be put to work.”
