ERA holds workshops at annual Convention

The European Rental Association (ERA) held three workshops during the ERA Convention this year, following on from the success it found last year.

The workshops were moderated by the chairwoman and chairman of the ERA committees (promotion, sustainability and technical), assisted by other members of those committees and of the future group.

The following questions, focusing on new generations, new technologies and the promotion of rental, were asked to the participants:

1) Reaching and retaining new generations: What new methods of communicating to people will you bring to rental?

2) How can we change the image of the rental industry to be more attractive?

3) How CSR can help in promoting rental?

4) What HR related KPIs can attract new generations?

Other topics discussed included risk and opportunities from the new technologies in the rental industry, and future of training in the rental industry (new generations, new technologies).

The answers collected in each workshop will be presented during the next committee meeting after the summer and will be used to fine tune the priorities of the committees and to continue their works. The outcomes will then be posted on the ERA website.
