The product – TE 2000 – weighs 14.5kg and is easy to transport. It was designed for both specialised trades and for residential use. It has an impact energy of 35 joules, producing up to 1,800 impacts per minute and includes active vibration reduction (AVR).

Peter Jones, head of Specialised Business of Hilti Australia, said, “Designed for medium-duty concrete slabs and foundations, the Hilti TE 2000 is great for jobs where you may not need the TE 3000 or when you need more power than what the TE 1000 can offer.”

Meanwhile, Braden Murrin, Kennards Hire’s head of asset & procurement, said, “Not only is the demo hammer more powerful, it further enhances workplace safety. The fixed T-handles eliminate the need to bend over, giving the user more control when operating, whether it be to remove concrete for rebar connections or break out channels for plumbing applications.”
