'Elder statesman' looks to the future at Summit

European Demolition Association (EDA) and National Federation of Demolition Contractors past president David Sinclair has presented the keynote speech at this year's World Demolition Summit.

David is also a board member of the National Demolition Association in the USA.

In an address on the theme of "A Life in Demolition", David also mentioned the future.

Talking about high-reach demolition rigs, while he might not have been the greatest supporter of the rigs when they first came onto the market, he said: "They are definitely the future - technology is taking over."

The World Demolition Summit is organised by Demolition & Recycling International magazine in partnership with the EDA.
