18 July 2011

Three US contractors have completed an integration process to form what will be the world's second largest demolition contractor. Nuprecon, CST Environmental and MARCOR Environmental have come together and will now operate under a single brand, NCM. With 23 offices across the USA, NCM employs more than 2,000 persons and generates more than US$220 million annually.

Nuprecon's CEO, John Hennessy, has taken the position of chairman of the board of the new company, with CST Environmental's CEO Sage Khara as president and CEO and MARCOR's president Dave Jungers as COO.

According to Sage: "This step is the realisation of a key milestone in a process we began in 2006. We have the capitalisation, the management structure and the national footprint of people, equipment and processes to provide even more services and better results to our customers. We are expanding our employee and customer base across the country."

NCM will offer a variety of speciality contracting services, including asset recovery, plant decommissioning and dismantling, structural, site and precision demolition, hazmat and brownfield remediation, LEED waste management, asbestos and lead abatement, microbial remediation and disaster recovery.
