Columbian company HSE Consultores is the newly appointed distributor for Netherlands fall protection specialist, XSPlatforms.

With its new representative XSPlatforms is taking its first steps in the Colombian market. After almost 20 years, the company now operates from 26 locations across the world. Its systems for fall and roof-edge protection are already used in more than 2000 buildings in Western Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America.

Pamela Manuhutu, marketing manager of XSPlatforms said, "Fall protection is a necessity, after all, good fall protection saves lives. The importance of safety when working at heights is often underestimated. Did you know that a bad fall is the cause of 15% of all fatal industrial accidents? Every year, hundreds of people suffer serious injuries. High-quality fall protection is therefore not only an obligation; it is an absolute must."

HSE Consultores is a young company, which says it is determined to become the Colombian market leader in industrial safety, industrial medicine and environmental standards. The company's core activity is training in working at height.

XSPlatforms develops solutions for working safely and efficiently at height. Its products conform to all international standards and include: horizontal lifeline systems with anchor points, guardrails, mobile fall protection, suspended platform systems and scaffolding systems. Additionally, XSPlatforms provides user training, risk assessment services and advice on safety at height.
