McCloskey has added both warehousing and manufacturing space at its Peterborough, Ontario base as well as at Coalisland, Northern Ireland

Crushing and screening manufacturer McCloskey has announced that 2012 was a good year for the company, with it seeing an overall growth of 60% year on year, a 30% increase in employee numbers and the addition of more than 136,000 square feet (12,635 square metres) to its Canadian and Northern Irish facilities.

Its Peterborough, Ontario, facility saw the addition of warehousing of 42,500 square feet (3,950 square metres) and production space of 78,000 square feet (7,247 square metres), with its operation in Coalisland seeing 16,000 square feet (1,486 square metres), including additional production space for the assembly of C38, I44 and I55 mobile crushers. In all, the company says that 12 new machines were introduced during the year – 10 crushers, one screen and stacker.

The company was bullish when it comes to its forecast for the next two years, with additional space planned to be added to both its facilities, continued double-digit growth expected and its dealer network around the world predicted to exceed 100.
