Next year's IAPA awards and IPAF Summit will be held in Miami, Florida on Tuesday, 26 March, 2013 - the first time the event has been held outside Europe and the first time in North America.

The venue was announced by Access International's Editor, Maria Hadlow, at the end of the 2012 IAPA awards dinner, held in Rome, Italy on 29 March.

The decision to move the awards to the Americas reflects the increasingly international nature of IPAF as well as Access International's worldwide readership. Miami has been chosen to attract both existing delegates from Europe and Asia as well as new attendees from North America and the fast-growing South American market.

Mrs Hadlow said; "After four successful years of IAPA awards in Europe - held in Dublin, London, Amsterdam and Rome - we firmly believe the time is right to take the awards to North America.

"The venue is the perfect location to attract delegates from around the world, and lies between two of the most important regions for the industry - between the vast North American market and the high-growth areas further south such as Brazil."

As in previous years IPAF willhold its Summit conference during the day with the IAPA awards - jointly organised by Access International and IPAF - in the evening.

More details on the 2013 IAPA awards and IPAF Summit will be released in the coming weeks.
