Sin Heng and Kobelco celebrating the former's acquisition of 500 Kobelco crawler cranes since 2010

Sin Heng Heavy Machinery in Singapore has taken delivery of its 500th Kobelco crawler crane. A ceremony to mark this milestone was held at the Kobelco factory in Okubo, Japan, last month.

During the 18 October ceremony Kazuhide Naraki, Kobelco Construction Machinery president and CEO, said, “We would like to express our great gratitude to Sin Heng for the purchase of the 500th unit of our cranes. We look forward to stronger co-operation between our companies and a brighter future together.”

Sin Heng Heavy Machinery signed up as a Kobelco crawler crane dealer in Singapore in 2010. The company has been going since 1969. Tan Ah Lye, Sin Heng chairman, said, “We are proud to accomplish this landmark achievement. Our highest appreciation to Kobelco for their strong support and collaboration. We would also like to thank our supportive customers for their continued patronage and valuable feedback. We will continue to open up new grounds and opportunities and progress towards greater success with all our valued partners.”

Commenting on the achievement, Takemichi Hirakawa, Kobelco Cranes South East Asia managing director, said, ”We are privileged to be able to contribute to this great achievement and part this historic crawler crane growth cycle through Sin Heng. It reflects the market confidence of our Kobelco crawler crane products and Sin Heng’s dedication and support to our valued customers.”
